Getting Started with Your Hosting Account

A step-by-step guide to accessing your hosting account, exploring features, and uploading your first website.

Welcome to Ace Intl Media Web Hosting! This article will guide you through the basics of logging in, managing your account, and getting your website online.

1. Accessing Your Hosting Account

  • Log in to the Client Portal.

  • Navigate to Services → My Services.

  • Select your active hosting package.

  • Click Login to cPanel/Plesk (depending on your hosting type).

2. Exploring Hosting Features
Once inside cPanel or Plesk, you’ll have access to:

  • File Manager – Upload, edit, and organize your site files.

  • Databases – Create and manage MySQL databases.

  • Email Accounts – Set up and manage business emails.

  • SSL/TLS – Secure your site with free or custom SSL.

  • Backups – Create and restore site backups.

3. Uploading Your First Website

  • Open File Manager (cPanel) or File Manager → httpdocs (Plesk).

  • Upload your website files into the public_html (cPanel) or httpdocs (Plesk) folder.

  • If using WordPress or another CMS, you can also use the One-Click Installer in your control panel.

4. Testing Your Website

  • Enter your domain in a browser.

  • If DNS has propagated, your site should now be live.

  • If not, check your nameserver settings (see our Domains & DNS articles).

5. Need Help?

  • Submit a ticket via the Client Portal Support Section.

  • Our team is available to guide you with setup, migrations, or troubleshooting.
