Plugins are add-ons that give your WordPress site extra features like SEO tools, contact forms, backups, or security enhancements. Here’s how to install and manage them.

4. Configure Plugin Settings
After activation, most plugins add a menu item or appear under Settings.
Open the plugin’s settings to configure it.
Example: SEO plugin → set title formats and sitemaps.
5. Manage Installed Plugins
Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins.
From here, you can activate, deactivate, or delete plugins.
Always keep plugins updated to the latest version.
6. Best Practices
Avoid installing too many plugins — it may slow down your site.
Only use trusted plugins with good reviews and active updates.
Regularly review and remove plugins you no longer need.
Tip: Before major updates, back up your site in case a plugin causes conflicts.
