How to Install a Free Let’s Encrypt SSL Certificate

Secure your website with a free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate from your hosting panel in just a few clicks.

SSL certificates enable HTTPS on your website, encrypting traffic between your visitors and server. At Ace Intl Media, you can install a free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate directly from your hosting panel.

1. Log in to Your Hosting Panel

  • Go to the Client Portal.

  • Navigate to Services → My Services → Your Hosting Package.

  • Click Login to cPanel/Plesk.

2. Locate the SSL/TLS Section

  • In cPanel: Scroll to the Security section → click SSL/TLS Status or Let’s Encrypt SSL.

  • In Plesk: Select your domain → go to Websites & Domains → SSL/TLS CertificatesLet’s Encrypt.

3. Issue a New SSL Certificate

  • Choose your domain from the list.

  • Check options to include www.yourdomain.com and mail.yourdomain.com (recommended).

  • Click Issue (or Get It Free in cPanel).

  • The panel will automatically validate your domain and install the certificate.

4. Verify HTTPS

  • Open your website in a browser: https://yourdomain.com.

  • Look for the padlock icon in the address bar.

  • If you see a warning, clear your cache or wait for DNS propagation.

5. Common Issues & Fixes

  • Validation failed: Ensure your domain points to our hosting nameservers.

  • Mixed content warning: Update all site links to use https:// instead of http://.

  • Expired certificate: Let’s Encrypt auto-renews, but check your panel if renewal fails.

Tip: For advanced sites or e-commerce stores, you can also install a premium SSL certificate for extended validation. See our article How to Install a Custom/Paid SSL Certificate.
